Priority registration for enrolled families

Given that the preschool can only host ten children per day, and to allow for continuity for those enrolled, we give priority to the families of children already registered for the current year. 

The priority registration period starts before the official registration, usually before the February open house, for the following September.

A two-step registration for new families

Thank you for your interest in V’là l’Bon Vent preschool!

Registration for new families is a two-step process:

1. Add your child’s name to our waitlist

Fill in the form (in French only) (and please ignore the request on the form to submit a $CA 25.00 non-refundable deposit).

Once your child’s name is on our waitlist, you will be given priority at the time of official registration, in the Spring. Priority order will be based on the date of the reception of your registration.

Your child’s name will remain on our waitlist even if, at the time of registration, your child is not ready to start attending preschool for any reason whatsoever. Any time a spot will become available in the course of the school year, we will offer it to you first, no matter how many times you have turned down a spot.

In February or March of each year, we hold our annual open house. Parents of children on our waitlist are invited to that event. If you move or change email address after you send in your form, make sure to provide us with your new address.

2. Confirm your child’s official registration

The official registration applies to all parents and starts in the Spring.

Your child is declared registered and guaranteed a seat upon the time of receipt of fees payment (preschool fees), and other required forms.

School fees

A C$50.00 amount registration fee is charged when a child begins preschool. School fees are then CA$855.00 per month.

School fees monthly payments are made by 9 cheques post dated to the first of the month, starting September 1st. The fees for June are payed before the beginning of the school year and serves as a deposit in case a registration is canceled without a month’s notice. 

Families with two children registered at V’là l’Bon Vent preschool at the same time, whether they are twins or siblings a year apart, will receive a 30% discount on the fees charged for the second child.
