Admissibility
Section 23 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom guarantees Canadian citizens and landed immigrants who settle in British Columbia the right to have their children educated in French in any of the following circumstances:
- their first language learned and still understood is French;
- they, themselves, have been educated in French in Canada at the elementary school level;
- one of their children has been educated in French in Canada at the elementary or secondary school level;
- one of their children has started attending school in French in Canada.
Given that our program is distinct from that of Rose-des-Vents School, attending our preschool can in no way guarantee your child a spot in that program. For more information about the school, please contact its administration directly.
Parent Involvement
All through the year, at V’là l’Bon Vent, parents are entirely responsible for the management and daily activities that are necessary for the functioning of the Preschool.
